Thinking Out Loud Thursday - In My Perfect World

I'm linking up today for a Thinking Out Loud Thursday with Penny and Vanessa!  Today's post is all about what life would be like in my perfect world.  While it's not going to happen this way in the real world, a girl can dream, right???

In my own little perfect world...

I would still have both of my parents alive.  I miss them both every. single. day.

I would have begun a relationship with my sweet RC waaaay sooner - I love him and cherish him more and more each day!

Everyone would have a chance to learn about how much Jesus loves them.  That there would be an opportunity for each and every person to know how much God sacrificed so that we can have eternal life.

My favorite sister (ok, ok she's my only sister) would live next door to me wherever I live.  She lives about an hour from me now, in our hometown and I would love to see her more often.

I would be a momma a few times over.  Infertility is an awful, awful thing.  My heart aches to be a mom and many days I wonder if it will ever happen.  But in my perfect world - I would be a mom to two, maybe three happy, healthy babies.

I could eat anything I wanted and never gain weight.  No calories in anything from Krispy Kreme doughnuts to Thai food to cheeseburgers.  Wouldn't that be awesome!?!

There would be no hungry or homeless people in the world.  The thought that there are children in the United States that go to bed hungry and live on the streets just breaks my heart.  We live in a country with SO much excess - to think an athlete makes millions of dollars to play a game and there isn't enough money to provide for those who don't have the basics just befuddles me.

I would have a house at the lake, the beach and mountains.  I mean, why not?  It's a perfect world after all.

In my perfect world, there would be peace and harmony and no need for dramatic politics and  corrupt government officials who are only interested in getting elected, not actually doing any good for other people.

Cancer wouldn't exist and childhood illness would be wiped out.  Way too many families are affected by both.  While we're at it, let's just do away with anything incurable - it's a perfect world, right?

I would never have to have my roots done, shave my legs, pluck my eyebrows or buff dry feet.  I don't remember my natural haircolor, but no grey would make this chick very happy.  Think of all that time you'd gain back in your life!

Travel would be like it was in the Jetsons.  I mean really, how cool would that be...oh and pushing a button for freshly cooked meals or packing up an entire room into a folding box....that would be awesome!

My Pinterest boards would be reality - recipes cooked, outfits in my closets, perfectly decorated house - just pin away and it appears...nice!

My favorite shows would never have to end - Beverly Hills 90210, Full House, Three's Company, Love Boat, Dawson's Creek, Fringe, Chips, Wonder Woman,  The Cosby Show, Different World, old school cartoons Smurf, Jetsons, The Flinstones, Tom and Jerry....oh I could go on and on...there is so much garbage on the television today, can't we just go back?

Okay, okay, I've lived in fantasy land long enough - I must return to reality before the laundry piles up, supper needs to be cooked or the unibrow sets in.  But it was fun to daydream! Share your perfect world in the comments if you like! :) Have a great Thursday everyone!

  1. Yes, all these things would be perfect! Only when we get to heaven will it all be perfect! I liked what you said about your personal grooming, I'd be happy for the "no plucking of the eyebrows." So time consuming.
